Routes 5&20 group opens tourism drive
The Routes 5&20 Tourism Promotion Group will officially launch its Miles of Farm, Food and Fun!” Campaign at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at the Ward O'Hara Agricultural Museum, Route 38A, Emerson Park, Auburn.
The “Farms, Food and Fun!” program spotlights agri-tourism opportunities along historic Routes 5&20. Close to 200 places or events that offer a blend of agriculture and tourism have been identified. To learn more, visit www.Routes5and20.com.
Chicken barbecue to aid Frontenac
The Frontenac Historical Society and Museum will hold a chicken barbecue from 10 a.m. until sold out on Saturday, July 14, at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 163 Cayuga St., Union Springs.
The cost is $6 for a full dinner and $4 for a half and is sponsored by the Union Springs Lions Club.

Goose Watch Winery turns 10
Goose Watch Winery will celebrate its 10th anniversary from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 14, with live music, food, T-shirts and glassware.

Fundraiser to aid Cayuga/Seneca CAA
The Holiday Inn will host Taste for Community Action from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at the inn, 75 North St., Auburn.
The event will feature food and drink from 17 local restaurants, 18 different wineries and three microbreweries. Door prizes will be given as well and local musicians will perform.
Tickets are $30 if ordered in advance before Friday, July 13. Tickets will be $35 at the door.

St. Ann's church to host barbecue
St. Ann's Church will host a chicken barbecue and bazaar from 11 a.m. until supplies are gone, Sunday, July 22, at the church in Owasco. Chicken will be served with salt potatoes, baked beans, rolls, drinks and desserts.
The event will also feature children's games, prizes from local merchants and drawings for $1,000, $500 and $100.
