Q. What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A. Acquiring new technology.
Q. What is the most challenging?
A. The paperwork.
Q. Describe your ideal patient.
A. Someone who appreciates what we do, and why we do it.
Q. When you're sick, would you want someone like you to be your doctor?
A. I would be comfortable with any doctor on
staff at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
Q. What is the best piece of advice you could give someone to stay healthy?
A. Don't smoke, and everything else in moderation.
Q. What's the most common misconception you hear from patients?
A. Nobody really cares about them and their illness.
Q. If you weren't in the health care field, what career or field would you do?
A. Professional hockey player or a rock star.
Q. For someone considering a career like yours, what advice would you offer?
A. Stay focused and take it a day at a time.
Q. What's your ideal cure for the common cold?
A. Vitamin C, OJ and sleep.
Q. In your opinion, which medical TV show is most realistic? Which is your favorite?
A. I don't watch any of them.
