There's been no action on a power plant siting law, though high energy costs deflate business growth. Campaign finance reform isn't even on the launch pad. The capital budget is in abeyance.
Judges' pay should have been increased years ago, and the linkage with legislators' pay should be removed.
The word now is that a special session will be called in a couple of weeks.
It will only be special if work is done, deals are made and bills are passed.
