Aldi's workers not at all to blame for missing money

Saturday, July 7, 2007 11:38 PM EDT

In response to the letter to the editor that was recently written about my son losing his money at Aldi's, it has been brought to my attention that numerous people in the community have expressed outrage directed at the employees of Aldi's.
The store and its employees are not at all responsible for the loss of my son's money. I'm sure it was a shopper, not an employee, who is to blame for this. Thank you for your outpouring of concern, but please do not direct your anger at Aldi's or their employees. We are not at all upset with the store, and it is my understanding that the employees went above and beyond the call of duty to help locate the money that was lost - or more likely stolen.
