On June 1 and 2, I was privileged to be part of the Relay for Life, a team event to fight cancer.
A large number of my family members and friends walked to support me as I am fortunate to have survived cancer not once but twice.
It was a breathtaking night and very successful due to the hard work of many people.
On Wednesday, June 20, a full page article appeared in The Citizen and one very special young lady was overlooked, my granddaughter Stacie Mosher.
She sang The National Anthem for opening, “Angels Among Us” for lighting of the luminaries and also sang a full hour from 10 to 11, and her name was never mentioned.
Somebody goofed! And yes, we have more than two young ladies in this area with beautiful voices.
