Mystery theme of reading program

The summer reading program, “Get a Clue @ Your Library” will open at Seymour Library with a party from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 10. The event will feature a mystery theme.
Children of all ages are invited to the party, which will feature crafts, games and refreshments. Magician Aaron Isaacs will perform until 11:30 a.m., and children may pick up summer reading logs, which they can turn in for prizes at the end of the summer.

This party is free and no registration is required.

Future events include:

€ Craft program - 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at the library; children may makes a “Get a Clue” book bracelet or book buddy (beaded bookmark). Free, but registration required.

€ Music performance by Johnny Only - 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at the community room at SS. Peter and John Episcopal Church, 169 Genesee St., Auburn. Free and no registration required.

€ Storytime - 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 24 and 31, at the library. Free and no registration required.

€ Harry Potter scavenger hunt - 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the library. Free, but registration required by Friday, July 13.

€ Craft program - 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the library. Children will make a paper plate decoder device. Free, but registration required.

€ Performance by Bubble Man - 11 a.m. Thursday, July 19, at the community room at SS. Peter and John Episcopal Church. Free and no registration required.

€ American Girl lawn party - 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at the library. This is an outdoor event; the rain date is set for July 31. Free, but registration required by Friday, July 20.

€ Craft program - 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the library. Children will do fingerprint art. Free, but registration required.

€ Puppets and music by Tom Knight - 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26, at the community room at SS. Peter and John Episcopal Church. Free and no registration required.
