An Oswego County woman who was reported missing Tuesday was found dead Friday next to her vehicle parked in tall weeds at the end of a country road in Brutus.

At 12:50 p.m. Friday, the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a vehicle that had gone over a 10-foot embankment at the end of Weller Road in Brutus. Carol L. Russo was found dead next to the vehicle. The vehicle was not damaged.

Authorities said there are no signs of foul play. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy at the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office.

Members of the Oswego County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene and are involved in the investigation.
