Mets earn pair of wins

Tehya Kloster had four hits, including the game-winning single to lead the Byrne Dairy Mets past the Daut's Braves 20-19 in a Boys and Girls Baseball League game Wednesday. Kellen Fedigan also collected four hits, while Adam Lupo recorded four hits, including two home runs. Julia Tozzi tallied three hits. Chris Maywalt and Justin King each supplied strong defense in the win.
John Malandruccolo and Emma Butler each totaled four hits for Daut's. Spencer Elses had two hits, while Marley Plish and Lindsey Debois played solid defense in the field.

Over the weekend, Cameron Hodson collected a game-winning double in the bottom of the fifth inning to lead Byrne Dairy to a win. Matt Walters had a pair of hits, while Kloster collected three hits. Lupo played strong defense, helping to turn a double play.

Children's Health Marlins 19,

Byrn's Trophy Padres 18

Kailee Brooks, Sam Vasile and Sam Carbonaro all collected three hits for the victorious Marlins. Chelsea Franczek had a game-high four hits. T.J. Reilly was strong on defense in the field.

Alex Fallon and John Ryan both had three hits, including one home run each, for the Padres. Margret Canty tallied three hits also, including a double. Noah Wojnar and Abbie Fallon supplied solid defense.

AUBURN LITTLE LEAGUE

The Citizen 11, Elks Club 10

Joey Dyson's three hits, including a three-run home run, helped propel The Citizen to victory. Dyson also doubled in the game. One of Jon Brown's three hits helped drive in the game-winning run. Joe Butera, Tyler Schmid, Nick Covich and Jack Hensel each had one hit.

Ivan Dawley doubled and tripled for Elks Club. Paul Musso had three hits, one of which was a triple. Sean McCole belted a home run, while Billy Reister had two hits. Lucas Maffei and Bridget Moore both tallied one hit in the game.

BABE RUTH LEAGUE

Giuseppes 8, Bryn Trophy 0

Tim Daniels singled, doubled and drove in three runs for Giuseppes. Steve Komanecky, Zach Cousineau and Zach Ladouce each also collected hits. On the mound, Cousineau, Ladouce and Nick Price combined on a three-hit shutout, while striking out six batters.

Adam Hurd, Joey Deangelis and Eric Guyle had Bryn Trophy's three hits. Deangelis, Brian Church and Justin Lyndaker surrendered only five hits, while striking out seven.

S.K. Post 2,

Auburn Credit Union 1

Mike Ferlenda had two of S.K. Post's four hits in the win. Ferlenda also saw time on the mound, along with Brian Roe and Bob Dushatinski. Roe picked up the win, while Dushatinski recorded the save.

Chris Anderson pitched the entire game for Auburn Credit Union, allowing only four hits while racking up 10 strikeouts.
