False reports are wrong or illegal whether they are on crime hotlines or on Two Cents. Both constitute a misuse of a public forum--duh !!!
It is not necessarily accurate to say that critics “hate the Two Cents column.” They are not criticizing the column itself, but a few anonymous souls who misuse the outlet to engage in nothing but juvenile name-calling.
DA Nifong was disbarred for withholding evidence and making improper comments to the news media, sound familiar? Our local office should pay attention and take heed.
