The artwork of Karen Thomas-Lillie portrays the Finger Lakes region in a way that has been described asmystical and meditative.
The Lucas Gallery in Skaneateles is showing six pieces of her work, which includes “Across the Lake,” a piece that will debut to at Saturday night's opening.

“My wife and I are so exicted to be able to show Karen's work. The quality and depth (of Thomas-Lillie's work) are exquisite. I think our customers will appreciate the sublime richness of this lake imagery as much as we do. I know we will be seeing Karen's work in higher profile venues in the future, and I'm just thrilled to be involved now,” said gallery owner Kevin Lucas in a press release.
