Teen charged in murder, arson
BUFFALO - A 13-year-old girl accused of torching the home of her sleeping family was charged with murder and arson after a relative was killed by flames early Friday morning.
“There was a trail of some kind of flammable liquid (the suspect) used on the first floor,” Deputy Fire Commissioner Patrick Lewis told The Buffalo News.
The liquid was apparently spread through the house, including the kitchen, outside a bedroom and in a dining room, he said.
