Bruce Lansky put together a small paperback called “Age Happens.” In it I found some great quotes about “growing older.”
Here are my picks of Lansky's best picks. I could relate to so many of them that it was really hard to choose my own favorites. Such as:

€ Youth is a wonderful thing. What a crime to waste it on children.“

- G.B. Shaw

€ When I was young, the Dead Sea was still alive.

- George Burns

€ Youth is a disease from which we all recover.

- Dorothy Fuldheim

€ Middle age is where your wife tells you to pull in your stomach, and you already had.

- Jack Barry

€ Middle age is when your age starts showing around the middle.

- Bob Hope

€ Middle age is when anything new you feel is most likely to be a symptom.

- Lawrence Peter

€ Middle age is when you know all the answers, and nobody asks you the questions.

- Bob Phillips

€ Middle age is when no matter when you go on holiday, you pack a sweater.

- Lawrence Peter

€ Middle age is when you still believe you'll feel better in the morning.

- Lawrence Peter

€ Middle age is when a woman's hair starts turning from gray to black.

- Anonymous

€ One of the chief pleasures of middle age is looking back at the people you didn't marry.

- Anonymous

Quotes by oldsters:

€ I'm growing old by myself. My wife hasn't had a birthday in years.

- Milton Berle

€ Don't worry about avoiding temptation. As you grow older, it will avoid you.

- Joey Adams

€ We don't drink and drive. Our kids always have the car.

- Bumper sticker

€ I don't date women my age. There aren't any.

- Milton Berle

€ Be nice to your kids. They will choose your rest home!

- Phyllis Diller

€ At my age, when a girl flirts with me in the movies, she's after my popcorn.

--- Milton Berle

That's enough for now. More to come.
