School board extends Pabis' contract

AUBURN - The city school board extended the contract for Assistant Superintendent Joseph D. “J.D.” Pabis and agreed to terms for his upcoming appointment as interim district chief Tuesday.

The Auburn Enlarged City School District Board of Education voted 7-1 in favor of the contract extension following an executive session. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Board member Joseph Leogrande cast the only no vote.
