Even though I am a member of the very small fraternity of people who truly understand the mystery of quantum physics, it is still an enigma to me why The Citizen newspaper, when it comes to racial matters, only allows the black side of the discussion to be published.
Just when the real people of Auburn seem to get a little discouraged, three great Auburnians - Lattimore, Smith and Graney - stand up to the unfair liberal media and a bunch of the local left-wing, race-baiting kooks and shoot down this racist anti-American Human “Wrongs” Board.

I see that the governor is supporting medical marijuana for the use of chemotherapy and AIDS treatment patients. Certainly, how could one ever deny something that can extend someone's life to someone that is dying, and why it didn't happen long ago is the real question.

I believe the Democratic Party made a wrong decision in backing Mr. Quill as mayor of the City of Auburn. When he was fire chief and it was time to make tough decisions on budgets and personnel, he cut and ran and left the decision-making to someone else.

It's about time we got a city manager to do away with the anti-white, racist human rights director position.

" I hear ya! i feel thats why most people move away from cny... its just too costly and the pay doesnt cut it. "

" Yes, born and raised in Auburn. I've traveled a lot of the country and believe that the fingerlakes is the most beautiful area i've been. Even better than the grand canyon, vegas, sedona, or niagra falls. I've read the "All Around Auburn" books (I highly reccomend them) and the "owasco lake" book and its very sad to see what has become of the once great city of Auburn. I'd move back to the fingerlakes area if I could even come close to making what I make here. But alas, jobs are low paying and scarce, taxes are outrageous, and utilities are costly. "

" just to be nosey bobbo since ur living in the south how come you have all this to say about cny? tell me you used to live there? "

" True, I agree. I just fear governments that feel they have the right and need to make our choices for us. I wonder how many cell phone accidents there are compared to radio tuning accidents. I suspect the results are similar. Its jsut people not paying attention or like Brew said, reckless driving which is already against the law. "

" bobbo.. i moved to the south from cny about 2 yrs ago, and when i got down here and had the right to use my cell phone while driving i was psyched! but then i soon realized how much of a distraction cell phones really are, the city i live in has so many stupid fender bender accidents because someone was on their phone and didnt see the car in front of them braking or didnt see the little boy crossing the road (no lie that happened twice i believe) now granted the kid crossing the road situation is extreme i just wish people would pay attention, if people would maybe limit the use of cell phones... instead of having "the break up" talk with your boyfriend while ur driving during rush hour, wait until you get home. I dont believe theres anything wrong with calling home and being like "honey you want to start dinner? ok great love you bye" but conversations that involve thought or can be distracting should be left at home... it shouldnt take a law for people to realize that... it should be common sense...true? "

" It seems that America learned nothing from Prohibition! Look what happened when alcohol was outlawed...bootleg liquor and the rise of gang-wars. Isn't the same thing happening with marijuana? Legalize it and tax it! That will free up law enforcement for more important things (like catching drivers using cellphones! ha ha ha). "

brew1234 wrote on Jun 20, 2007 1:15 AM:

" Oh my God I agree with Bobbo. There is already a law on the books called reckless driving. If you are doing all the things Bobbo mentioned then you would be recklessly driving. Then there are the ones who can't chew gum and operate a car safely. But if any of these fools are driving erratically then they would be reckless drivers and subject to arrest. "

" I think the police should focus their attention to the assailants that attacked the teenager on West St. rather than cell phones, illegal turns into Dunky Donutz and cars that don't make complete stops at stop signs. Just like this country focusing on illegal aliens picking fruits and lettuce when there is a war on two fronts and a war on tearzim (thats the way Bushie says it) The border may have terrorists entering but why jump all over 12 million busboys, chambermaids and fruit pickers? We have limited resources and must work on the priorities. "

" Marijuana does NOT extend your life - a doctor tried to use that excuse for giving a patient of his a ton of marijuana and was thrown in jail. Marijuana is a depressant that kills your brain cells. There is no miracle drug that extends your life, and it's certainly not marijuana. Potheads are just as wacked out as drinkers, and I'd rather be around neither. "

Bobbo wrote on Jun 19, 2007 7:06 PM:

" That is the dumbest law I've ever heard. Are they removing radios and cd players in NY too? Aren't they just as distracting? We still have those freedoms here in the south. I can drive, use my phone, and my laptop at the same time while driving (though not recommended). Although, I recon we'll have a stupid law like that here soon as they slowly remove all our freedoms. "

Pentangelli wrote on Jun 19, 2007 6:19 PM:

" Why not legalize it(marijuana) completely...users are safer to be around than Bud drinkers...the New England Journal of Medicine says it is the perfect recreational drug (but doesn't endorse smoking it, rather consuming it)...Think of the thousands upon millions of dollars we'd save if Law enforcement and the courts could concentrate on the real dangerous drugs (ie: cocaine, heroin, speed, etc.)We could use the "saved" money to help educate kids and make schools more accomodating to all. "

" I have seen as least 4 out of 5 people driving and using cell phones. People why are you showing everybody you have no respect for the law?. I wish they would either remove the law or increase the fines for using the phone while driving. Is there any way people can report the lawbreakers to the police?-How about video taping them? "

" Quantum physics secret society? Are you refering to the makers of that joke of a documentary "What the Bleep Do We Know?" by JZ Knight and the school of Ramtha. I hope not, but if so, do a little research and you'll find that its all a bunch of crap. "
