Three teen males attempted to rob a 17-year-old female Monday afternoon while she walked to her residence on West Street, according to the Auburn Police Department.
The female was approached by three males between the ages of 13-to-16-years old on bicycles, police said.

Suspects allegedly used physical force against the victim, grabbed her MP3 player headphones and attempted to take an MP3 player and a shoulder bag before she ran from the scene.

The victim was not injured and the headphones were later recovered.

Police officials describe the suspects as three thin and short-haired black males between the ages of 13 and 16-years-old. All were last seen wearing shorts.

One suspect wore a red and blue sports jersey and the second male was wearing a white shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 253-3235 or 255-4706.
