Arcuri mobile office to hold hours
The Congressional office of U.S. Rep. Michael Arcuri, D-Utica, will hold mobile office hours from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at Powers Library, 29 Church St., Moravia. Crystal Purcell, Arcuri's caseworker and field representative for Cayuga, Seneca, and Ontario counties, will be available to assist constituents on issues they may have with the federal government.

Man charged with endangering child

A 29-year-old man was arrested by the Auburn Police Department Wednesday on the charge he had oral sex with a girl under the age of 17.

Anthony Wilbur, 29, of Apt. 11, 1 Jefferson St., Auburn, was charged with the felony of third-degree criminal sex act and the misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child.

Upstate Citizens to hold rally Monday

The Upstate Citizens for Equality will hold a 45-minute rally between 5 to 5:45 p.m. Monday, June 18, before Seneca County's public hearing on the proposed settlement with the Cayuga Indian Nation of New York.

The hearing is being held at the Seneca Falls Community Center, 35 Water St., Seneca Falls. It starts at 6 p.m.

Police investigating stolen power tools

The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of $700 worth of power tools from a vehicle in Aurora. The theft was reported Saturday morning. No more information was available Saturday.
