Diego's scores nine to cruise to victory

Austin Johnston led Diego's Auto with three goals and two assists in a 9-2 win over Balcom Appliance in a Fingerlakes Minor Soccer League Junior Division game on Tuesday.
Michael Borst added two goals and passed for another, and Angeleina Murphy also scored twice. Zac Leja and David Carey each chipped in with a goal as well. Fabriziano Canales distributed an assist.

Defensively for the winning team, Mike Lakota grabbed seven saves, while Courtney Harris, Jordan Griffith and Mattea Kuhlmann also played well.

For Balcom, Ian Miller scored both goals unassisted. Ryan Coe had two saves, and John St. Pierre had four. Amber Kukella played well on defense.

Pro Construction 5,

Erie Canal Kids 1

Michael Wright scored two goals, while Michael Marrero, Aaron Iddings and Devon Grant chipped in with one each. Grant also recorded four saves. Michelle Nguyen and Miranda Wallace played well on defense.

For Erie Canal Kids, Matthew Weiman scored on passes from Kayla Weiman and Allison Blake. Dyllon Chapman and Joey Mills tallied five saves each, while Blake had two. Eric Gross and Samantha Raker played well on defense.

Ed and Jean's Market 1

Joe Chindamo scored twice in the win and the other goal was added by Ian Molloy. Jimmy Machell had three saves, and Aaron Bishop, Jennifer Horsford, Paul Drake and Josh Ely played well on defense.

Thomas Hitchcock scored for Ed and Jean's. Noah Adler, Coreen Felice, Teresa Hitchcock, Kaitlyn Weathy and Zack Glimpse played well on defense. Brandon Thorpe had 10 saves.

BANTAM

Weedsport Bantams 4,

Butler Sales and Service 2

Zachary Giancarelli led Weedsport with three goals, Leann Springler had one goal and Ebonie Martin had an assist. In goal, Jacob Wright grabbed three saves.

Austin Bell and Tim Short scored the goals for Butler Sales and Service. Randy David led the defense with five saves, while Rebecca Mahunick, Nick Buehler, Brad Short, Harry Green and Alicia Hadcock also played well.
