Union Springs to hold hoops camp
Union Springs will be offering a basketball camp for boys in grades fourth through 12th from June 25-29. The cost of registration is $60, and the deadline is June 13.

Sign-ups for South Cayuga Youth Football and Cheerleading will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. June 18, at A.J. Smith Elementary School in Union Springs, as well as Emily Howland Elementary School in Southern Cayuga. Sign-ups are open to all children in both districts.

“Dutch Oven” Dave Horton will be giving seminars on Dutch oven cooking at 1 p.m. June 16, and June 23, outside of the Bass Pro Shops Sportsman's Center. The seminars are free of charge and open to the public.

AHS Hall of Fame deadline June 30
The Auburn High School Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations. Forms can be picked up at the Auburn YMCA, Lewis Restaurant, or the Auburn athletic office on Thornton Avenue.
All candidates for the AHS Hall of Fame must be nominated by someone else, and once nominated that person will remain on the ballot.
Nominations must be received by June 30. The banquet will be Nov. 3 at Springside Inn.

South Shore Marina's Seventh Annual Spring Fishing Tournament will be June 16-17.
The entry fee is $15 for adults and $5 for children 12-and-under.
Divisions include Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Landlocked Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Walleye, Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass.
Participants must be registered by 6 p.m. June 15.

The Salmon Creek Sportsmen's Club is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays and from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursdays.
