Tru-Cut edges Daut's

Trenton Quinn drove in four runs to lead Tru-Cut Technology Orioles to a 24-23 win over Daut's Braves in a Boys and Girls Baseball League game. Leah Van Ostrand and Kaelyn Stanton each tallied three RBIs for the Orioles, who also got two RBIs and four hits each from Daniel Baumas, Gregory Baumas and Paige Lincoln. Kaleb Fasce drove in one run and had four hits. Hunter Duger made a key defensive play to seal the win for the Orioles.
Marley Plish, Emma Butler and John Malandruccolo each had four hits for the Braves. Griffin Dautrich added three hits. Both Plish and Dautrich played solid defense in the close game.

SANDLOT LEAGUE

Vietnam Veterans 18,

Autech Plastics 10

Alaina Bates had three hits and Stephen Sheridan had two hits for the Vietnam Veterans. Bates received the game ball for her performance.

Christina Besecker, Alex Anstelf and Brayolan Dubray each tallied three hits for the Autech Plastics.

Butler Services 14,

Gaston Moore 13

Zachary Squires' fourth hit drove in teammate Kyle Nolte for the winning run for Butler Services. Anthony DeRegis also had four hits. Noah Lewis and Kaylyn McCarthy each totaled three hits.

Devon Aldrich collected four hits, and Brett Palmer and Lauren Dupree each had three hits for Gaston Moore.

AUBURN PONY LEAGUE

Auburn Fire Fighters 12,

The Citizen 1

Nick Petrosino and Austin Duger each had a triple and three RBIs in the Auburn Fire Fighters win Monday. Malcolm Kellogg chipped in a triple and a home run, while Anthony Miccuci added two singles and two RBIs. Jay Mizro recorded another triple, Anthony Torres had a double, and Max Pinchak, Marcus Giltner and Ben Pinchak each singled. Petrosino and Pinchak combined to allow one hit while striking out seven batters.

Sam Hensel had a single for The Citizen. Tyler Schmidt and Jack Hensel both pitched, while Chris Wawro played great defense.

BABE RUTH LEAGUE

Giuseppes 4, APD 2

Andrew Sanders struck out 18 batters while giving up only four hits in a complete game for the victorious Giuseppes. Nick Price doubled in the bottom of the sixth inning to drive in the winning run. Zach Ladouce had two doubles, while Zach Cousineau and Brendan Pfeifer also had hits.

Gavin Gleason recorded two hits for APD. Nate Kayn, Sam Kayn and Jared Humphrey also added hits. Humphrey had four strikeouts and Nate Kayn had nine strikeouts for APD.

Giuseppes 6, Trombleys 3

Zach Ladouce collected a double, two singles and scored two runs in Giuseppes' win Saturday. Steve Komanecky and Andrew Sanders each singled and drove in one run. Brendan Pfeifer also had a hit. Komanecky pitched six strong innings, striking out nine batters to pick up the win. Sanders struck out all three batters he faced in the seventh inning to get the save.

John Fiermonte had three hits for Trombleys. A.J. Spinglli, Luke Colella and Nick Gentilcore all had hits. Matt Colella doubled for Trombleys. Fiermonte, Luke Christiantelli and Rocco DeFranco all pitched in the game.

AUBURN LITTLE LEAGUE

Little Giants 8, ACF 5

Hunter Charles hit a three-run double to lead the Little Giants to victory Saturday. Luke Boedicker belted a home run, Kevin Gauthier recorded a triple and Joe Messina had an RBI single. Paul Poresky led the Little Giants' defense. Charles pitched three innings, collecting seven strikeouts, while teammate Jordan Serling also pitched three innings, tallying six strikeouts.

Zach Siracusa, Mark Bachman and Mike Gentile each had two hits for ACF. Bachman also had five strikeouts and Ryan McCormick had nine strikeouts.

LITTLE LEAGUE

Union Springs X 14,

Union Springs XI 3

Jimmy Drancsak had three hits, and also took the mound to help lead Union Springs X. Garrett Cunningham, Tyler McNeal and Treshaun Stokes also pitched.

Austin Quick, Hunter Haff, McNeal and Cunningham each had two hits, and Nico Aquilar, Brandon Shaffer and Stokes each had one hit.
