Diaz and Timberlake attend ‘Shrek' premiere
“Shrek the Third” had its premiere in Britain on Monday, and the media event focused on two of its stars: ex-couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake.

The duo - who had been dating since 2003 - confirmed their split in early January.

Diaz, 34, and Timberlake, 26, embraced just before stepping onto the green carpet before a large crowd in London's glittering Leicester Square.

“We're friends. It's good to see him,” said Diaz. She voices Princess Fiona in the DreamWorks animated blockbuster.

“It's great having him around. We've not been able to sit down and have a chat yet we've been so busy,” Diaz said.

Timberlake, who voices the future King Arthur, said of the premiere: “It's massive, it doesn't get any bigger than this, I don't think.”

Quaid and wife set to welcome twins

Dennis Quaid and his wife, Kimberly, who are expecting twins by a surrogate mother, know the sex of the babies - a boy and a girl.

The couple are the biological parents of the twins, due later this year, Quaid publicist Cara Tripicchio said Monday. The pregnancy was announced last month.

Quaid has a 15-year-old son, Jack Henry Quaid, from his marriage to Meg Ryan.

Screen credits for the 53-year-old actor include “Far From Heaven,” “The Rookie,” “The Right Stuff,” “Great Balls of Fire!” and 1998's “The Parent Trap,” co-starring Lindsay Lohan.

NYC to host benefit for American farmers

American farmers will be looking toward the big city later this year when the Farm Aid benefit concert comes to Randalls Island, organizers said Monday.

Farm Aid co-founders Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp made the announcement with Mayor Michael Bloomberg at Union Square, which has a renowned fresh produce market.

The trio took a quick walk through one of the booths and munched snap peas for the cameras before holding a news conference about this year's benefit show.

Farm Aid concerts have been raising money for farmers since 1985. The organization's mission includes supporting family farms, changing the system of industrial agriculture, advocating fair prices and encouraging people to buy locally grown food that is organic and humanely produced.

In its history, it has raised more than $30 million. Last year's concert was in Camden, N.J., and the year before was in Chicago.

This year's lineup for the Sept. 9 show at Randalls Island includes Nelson, Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews.
