What a priceless jewel we have here in the Finger Lakes. It is called the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse.
It was my privilege to attend a performance of “Miss Saigon.” It was a Broadway production that equaled the one on the Great White Way. I felt I was transported to Manhattan, my home town, with all its energy, vibrancy and excitement that is New York. You had to see it to believe - superb!
The cast was outstanding. Kudos to Andrew Rannells, who played Chris - whose voice and acting were phenomenal, and to Emily Morales, who played Kim.
I wish I could list all the actors as their performance was also outstanding; also directors, musicians, stage people, set designers and costume designers. I hope I left no one out because you did a great job.
My one disappointment was that the cast was not called back for curtain call after curtain call, as this cast, I felt, did not receive the acclamation they so richly deserved. I apologize.
If you haven't gotten a ticket yet and there are still some seats left, do not miss this fabulous production of “Miss Saigon.” To the performers, I wish you many years of success. You were great!
