Auburn Memorial Hospital will officially introduce CEO Scott A. Berlucchi with a reception event Thursday, June 21.
Berlucchi, who was hired in April, will give a presentation titled “A Vision for Our Future” at the AMH auditorium.
“It's really his first presentation to the community,” AMH spokeswoman Beverly Miller said. “We just want to give the community a chance to come in and meet Mr. Berlucchi.”
Dr. Saul Rosenblum, medical staff president, and Interim Chief Financial Officer John Baran will also give 10-minute presentations on hospital and financial matters.
The hospital declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April.
“We want people to know we're moving through that very successfully and we expect to be growing and introducing some new programming in the very near future,” Miller said.
The evening is an introduction of sorts for Baran as well.
The Skaneateles resident, retained during the recent search for a chief executive officer, intends to take a seat on the hospital board in the future.
The presentations will be followed by refreshments and a reception with all three in the hospital lobby.
“We hope anyone in the community will feel welcome to come and hear about the good news at Auburn Memorial Hospital,” Miller said.
