Not all Cayuga Indians support casino gambling

Saturday, June 2, 2007 11:38 PM EDT

On being friends of the Cayugas, remember there are two groups of Cayugas. The traditional Cayugas, where the majority live on the Grand River reservation in Canada, whose honesty and dignity is unsurpassed and have kept their former culture alive and do not believe in casino, is a group to honor.
The other group that I refer to as the Casino Indians, are greedy businessmen.

They are professional negotiators that have been taught as follows. To never raise their voice, even in disagreement, but to pat you on the back and say we can be friends.

If in a disagreement, they will propose negotiation of the problem, even if there is no need for negotiations.

To not give up even if a court decision rules against them, but to claim they have been robbed. If repeated over and over again and again, that it was an unjust verdict, the public will believe in time to follow BIA policy.

If a claim is in their favor, close immediately. If not in their favor, don't close for a year.

All the above have been done in past history and can be so reviewed. So first, know who you are shaking hands with.
