DelloStritto gets ITT scholarship
ITT Corporation announced recently that Mark DelloStritto, a senior at Auburn High School, has been awarded an ITT scholarship to study physics at the State University New York at Binghamton. He is the son of Maria and Joseph DelloStritto.

Strollathon to aid Retts Syndrome

The Weedsport National Honor Society will hold a Strollathon for Rett's Syndrome Research on Saturday, June 2, at the Weedsport High School Track. Registration starts at 10 a.m. and the walking will begin at 10:30 a.m. Participants volunteer to walk one-mile each in exchange for donations to the Rett's Syndrome Research Foundation. Camp Y-Owasco to hold open house

Prospective campers can visit Camp Y-Owasco from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at its annual open house.

Cornell University's Summer College Programs will host a free Summer College Fair from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, July 6, in the Memorial Room of Willard Straight Hall on the Cornell campus in Ithaca.

Church to conduct graduates service

A United Baccalaureate Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Route 90, King Ferry.

Parents, teachers, friends and family are invited and refreshments will follow the service. A choir composed of members of the various local churches will sing.

Rehearsal for choir members and interested singers will be held at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 10.

Accounting group to hold career session

Accounting Education of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants is holding its annual Career Opportunities in the accounting profession program in 10 colleges across the state.

The 2007 program will be held at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, June 25 through 27.

Moravia seeks Hall nominees

The Moravia Central School District is looking for nominations for the Hall of Achievement. If you know of a prestigious alumnus who is a positive role model for students, graduated prior to 1997 and is distinguished in career, community service and or socially responsible endeavors, fill out the nomination form available at the Moravia Central School District's Office.

Submit nominations to the superintendent of schools by Saturday, June 30.
