Mary Benedict led the Auburn girls golf team with a 105 at the Section III Tournament at Green Lakes State Park on Wednesday. The Maroons finished in eighth place.
Also participating for Auburn were Meg Cahill, Christina Carmardo and Mindy Fowler.
Fayetteville-Manlius won the tournament.
FRESHMAN BASEBALL
Auburn 6, West Gensee 5
Nick Calarco earned the win, striking out five and allowing two hits in four innings, and Chris Anderson picked up the save with one strikeout in one inning of work.
At the dish, Luke Christiantelli had a hit and two runs, John Fiermonte had a hit and two RBIs and Mike Westmiller added an RBI single.
The Maroons finish the season 10-4 overall and 4-3 in the league.
Fayetteville-Manlius won the tournament.
