Falcon Sportsmen meeting Monday
The Falcon Sportsmen Club will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, June 4, at the clubhouse.

After the business meeting, the guest speakers will be Don Fuller of Mustad Hooks and Captain Dave Wilson of Oswego. The topic will be early summer trout and salmon techniques on area lakes.

Girls lacrosse camp to run in July

The Auburn Girls Lacrosse Camp will run a 10-session camp from July 25 to Aug. 9. Camp will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday at Seward Elementary. It is open to all girls in grades first through eighth, and will provide a mix of skills, drills and games every day. The cost is $80 per child and $50 for each additional child.

Sign-ups will be from 9 to 11 a.m. June 2, and June 9, at Auburn High School. Registration forms can be downloaded at www.laxified.com.

Boys lacrosse camp sign-ups coming up

The Auburn Lacrosse Boosters will hold the final registration session for the 17th Summer Lacrosse Camp from 9 to 11 a.m. June 9. Registration will be held at Auburn High School in the lobby in front of the gym.

The four-week camp is for boys entering grades first through 12th. Instruction is provided by current staff and AHS alumni who are playing collegiate lacrosse.

Registration forms are available at Auburn High School, Liberty Lacrosse and Champions for Life.

YMCA to host a wrestling camp

The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is hosting a wrestling camp from 8:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 6-10. Auburn coach John Alberici will be the instructor.

The camp is open to both boys and girls ages 8 to 12. The camp will be held at Auburn High School. The cost is $40 for Y members and $80 for the general public. The camp fee includes a pizza party and a camp T-shirt.

There will be a mixed golf league starting June 4, at the Cranebrook Golf Club.

Time running out to vote for D-days

The Auburn Doubledays Web site is now hosting a poll to elect the newest inductee into the Doubledays Wall of Fame in the contributor category. Voting will run until May 31.

The nominees include former board members Vince Klein and Dr. Thomas Stapleton and former General Manager Bill Graney. They are joined by team historian Charlie Wride. The winner will be announced at the Doubledays FanFest June 2.
