Three Auburn residents will serve on the Veterans Advisory Committee for U.S. Rep. Michael Arcuri, D-Utica.

Nicholas Valenti, Jeffrey Green and James Hutchinson will assist Arcuri with federal veterans legislation and outreach to local veterans.

Valenti, director of the Cayuga County Veterans Service Agency, served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969 to 1970 and is affiliated with a number of veterans groups.

Green served in the U.S. Army as a Ranger and is a member of the state's Army National Guard.

Hutchinson is a former city of Auburn council member. He served as a member of Congressman James T. Walsh's Air Force Committee when Walsh represented Auburn.
