Two Cents
The Citizen May 24 said the state's top judges have only been paid $147,600 plus a year since 1999. How come my taxes keep going up and I have to pay the same price for catsup on $17,000 a year since 1999?
When each and everyone of us who gets behind the wheel, how many of us follow/obey the traffic laws? If you haven't noticed, watch how a great many at a traffic light, four way stop and parking lots glide and go!
It is a shame that when tragedy occurs on the road, we forget to learn from those mistakes. Maybe the country's lawmakers should effect a law that would make us all take road tests every two years to see if we are capable drivers or risk factors.
