D-days to host Fan Fest June 2
The Auburn Doubledays will be kicking off the season with the annual Fan Fest from noon to 3 p.m. June 2, at Leo A. Pinckney Field at Falcon Park. Admission to this event is free.

The Fan Fest will feature the National Anthem tryouts and the Falcon Park Chef Competition. The tryouts will take place at 1 p.m., and the competition will begin at 2 p.m. Interested parties for these two events are encouraged to register prior to the Fan Fest by calling 255-CITY.

Also at the Fan Fest, fans of all ages will be able to tour the locker room and stadium. There will be free balloons available for children, who are invited to run the bases with Abner and enjoy the Auburn Party Rental inflatables. The concession stand will be open and the new Sunday logo merchandise will be available for sale for the first time. For more information, call Erin Fodness at 255-2489.

Benefit golf tourney will be June 3

The second annual Memorial Golf Outing in memory of Dr. Steven Oristian will be at 1 p.m. June 3, at Dutch Hollow Country Club. All proceeds will benefit Hospice of the Finger Lakes.

5K race will

benefit Hospice

The second annual Run for Hospice of the Finger Lakes will be held July 7. The 5K race will begin at Phillips Park in Fair Haven and follow a tour along Little Sodus Bay.

Walkers and strollers are welcome.

Registration forms will be available throughout Fair Haven and at www.hospiceofthefingerlakes.org.

Golf league to start at Cranebrook

There will be a mixed golf league starting June 4, at the Cranebrook Golf Club.

Youth fishing derby next weekend

There will be a youth fishing derby June 2. The awards ceremony will be at 3 p.m. at Harris Park in Cayuga. The cost is $5 per contestant.

PS Flyers to host tournament

The Central New York PS Flyers offer the area a chance to check out the new and exciting game of Power Soccer from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 2. The Flyers will host the first Central New York tournament at the Cayuga Community College gymnasium

Golf tourney will be for St. Joseph's

The ninth annual St. Joseph School Benefit Golf Tournament will be held at 1 p.m. June 10, at Dutch Hollow Country Club. Registration is at noon and the format is a four-person captain and crew.

Entry fee is $65 per player, which includes greens fee, cart and steak dinner.
