State Street Mall

parking made easier

A step has been eliminated in paying for parking in the State Street Mall in Auburn.

The city has reprogrammed the parking kiosk for the mall's parking spots to allow motorists to park in any spot without having to figure out which designated spot they parked in.

Beforehand, motorists had to make sure their parking receipt corresponded to the spot they had selected.

Motorists must still pay for the time they want to park and place their parking receipt in a visible spot in the car.
