Withdrawing out troops right away will not end the war in Iraq.
Common sense tells us that the civil war there will only escalate if we withdraw our troops now.
Get real.
Congress is getting nowhere, so far, calling for a timetable for our withdrawal of troops from Iraq.
Bush has, so far, vetoed anything with a time-table.
Fellow Democrats, stop trying to score points politically, and start acting like statesmen.
The Baker-Hamilton Commission's report on Iraq sounded to me like our best chance of getting out of the mess in Iraq with a happy ending.
The Democratic Party should adopt the B.H. report as part of its platform.
If we Democrats handle the issue properly, we should be able to get enough Republicans in favor of B.H. to override any veto by the incumbent president.
Real feedback, please.
