Nucor tops Auburn Police

Tyler McKeen drove in three runs as Nucor defeated Auburn Police 17-12 in a Kids Sandlot Baseball League game on Wednesday.
Christopher Skardinski and Billy Alberry led Nucor's defense.

For Auburn Police, Shamier Jackson and Justin Webster each scored three runs, and Jordan Kesinger converted two outs at second base.

Byrne Dairy 6, Mark's Pizzeria 1

Steven McCarthy pitched well and had a double, a triple and three RBIs at the plate. Brady Denner had an RBI triple, and Tony Meyers had two RBIs and a triple.

For Mark's, David Perez pitched and Brian Fipps played well defensively.

Jimmy Fecco led Mark's offense with two hits while Megan Kassel had an RBI single.

LITTLE LEAGUE

Mortimer's 12, Stantons 7

Matt Nolan (seven strikeouts), Matt Brooks (one strikeout) and Robbie Relfe picked up the victory for Mortimer's.

At the plate, Brooks (double), Relfe (triple) and Nolan (home run, triple) led the offense. Tom Alexander chipped in with two hits and Charlie Elser tripled.

R.J. Anderson, Cody Mitchell and Mike Mitchell all tripled for Stantons, while Troy Parker added a home run.

Anderson picked up seven strikeouts and Colin Mitchell had three strikeouts.

Kayn Design 9,

Auburn Correctional 0

Conor Herr was the winning pitcher, striking out 14, and Mike Gentile (11 strikeouts) picked up the loss. Herr only allowed one hit.

Noah Christiantelli had two hits, A.J. Sherts had two hits and two RBIs, and Herr had three hits including a double, a triple and a home run for Kayn.

Gentile had the lone hit for Auburn Correctional.

Auburn Fire Fighters 14,

Auburn Federal Credit Union 1

Max Pinchak (triple, double), Malcolm Kellogg (home run, single) and Jay Mizro (two singles) led Fire Fighters while Brandon Noga, Austin Martinez and Ryan Scott led AFCU.

For the Fire Fighters, Nick Petrosino struck out three and allowed one hit, Kellogg allowed no hits and had six strikeouts and Mizro allowed no hits and finished with three punch-outs.
