As the New York state men's bowling tournament moved into its final phase today keglers raised the sight to shoot at a new three-game mark. A 705, the highest triple of the tournament was fired last night by George Donohue of Weedsport who paired with Rupert Woodcock to take first place in the Class B doubles.

City plans to build sewage treatment facilities that will dump
partially treated sewage into the Owasco Outlet will continue, despite county threats the flow would break a contract between the two. The city will build four treatment centers that will dump partially treated sewage through a pipe into the Outlet, when heavy rains increase the amount of wastewater beyond what the facilities can handle. The discharge does not violate state environmental regulations.

canals Wednesday, citing high-water levels spewing debris into the waterways. Closed are Erie Canal locks 24 to 27, between Baldwinsville and Lyons. Locks 1, 2 and 3 are also closed.
