The Auburn Doubledays Web site is now hosting a poll to elect the newest inductee into the Doubledays Wall of Fame in the contributor category. Voting will run until May 31.
The nominees include former board members Vince Klein and Dr. Thomas Stapleton and former General Manager Bill Graney. They are joined by team historian Charlie Wride. The winner will be announced at the Doubledays FanFest June 2.

Limited spots are available for the Auburn Junior Olympic Softball program for two divisions: ages 8-10 and 11-12.
The cost is $40 for all Auburn City District residents and a $45 fee will be charged to non-residents.

Racquetball league taking registrations
The Auburn YMCA-WEIU will be offering a Women's Racquetball League starting the week of June 4. The five-week league is open to women and teens of all playing levels. Players are matched against other players of similar ability in a round-robin format.
The registration deadline is May 29, and the fee is $15 for members, $30 for the general public.

AHS Hall of Fame seeks nominations
The Auburn High School Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations. Forms can be picked up at the Auburn YMCA, Lewis Restaurant, or the Auburn athletic office on Thornton Avenue. All candidates for the AHS Hall of Fame must be nominated by someone else, and once nominated that person will remain on the ballot. Nominations must be received by June 30. The banquet will be Nov. 3 at Springside Inn.

The New York State Muzzleloaders will hold their annual spring shoot and camp out May 25-27 at the Elbridge Rod and Gun Club.
Campers can begin set up Friday at noon, and competition - which includes shooting, as well as knife and hawk throwing - will be Saturday and Sunday. Registration begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday and continues all weekend.

Registrations for youth swim lessons for ages 6 months to 5 years are are now open to the general public. Lessons are seven weeks in length and begin the week of May 29.
