Cato-Meridian earned its fourth win of the season after their sixth man, David Czajowski won the tie-breaker by scoring a 55 - five strokes better than the Trojans' sixth player. Both Cato-Meridian and Manlius Pebble Hill scored 236 on Monday.

Matt Hale and Paul Barbagallo led Cato-Meridian with a score of 45 each.

The Blue Devils (4-7) host Weedsport and Port Byron on Wednesday.

Lansing 195, Union Springs 244

Matt Cuff, who will be golfing at the individual Section IV golf match at Cornell University on Thursday, led the Wolves with a 46. Eric Hylwa and Chris Shrimpton each carded a 48, Tim Morabito shot a 49, and Michael Bean scored a 53.

Union Springs (9-5, 6-2 league) plays Southern Cayuga at Wells College on Wednesday.

In a golf match on Saturday, Union Springs took sixth place with a team score of 446. Matt Cuff tied for 10th place overall with a 79. Chris Shrimpton scored an 84, Eric Hylwa carded an 87, Michael Bean had a 93, Tim Morabito scored a 103 and Nick Vivenzio turned in a 106.

Megan Cahill was the medalist of the match, turning in a 44 on the day. Christina Carmardo scored a 51 for the Maroons, while Mary Benedict shot a 52, and Mindy Fowler carded a 57.

For Union Springs, Katie Smith shot a 60, and Lindsey Artman had a 69.

Auburn (6-5) hosts West Genesee, today.

Warrior Golf Classic

The Union Springs girls came in fifth with a 527. Jamie Pierce led the team with a score of 124. Katie Smith turned in a 126, Lindsey Artman carded a 139, Alex Kozanitis scored 148, Stephanie Quill had a 151 and Amanda Sheppard scored a 158.
