Hillside recognizes nurses' hard work during week

Tuesday, May 15, 2007 11:56 AM EDT

As the nation honored nurses during National Nurses' Week, May 6 to 12, Hillside Family of Agencies (HFA) also recognized its nurses and their commitment to our children and families.
The nationwide theme, “A Profession and a Passion,” truly captured the essence of nursing at HFA. Our nurses combine their rich depth and array of experience with their desire to practice in a dynamic and challenging environment.

The 60 nurses at HFA have many roles and serve in each of them with the passion they have for the profession and the commitment they have to their patients. Their work in these roles plays a vital and valuable part in caring for our children and families, and their spirit can be seen every day, in every HFA program where nurses work, including residential care, foster care, outpatient and school based clinics.

We are truly thankful for the passion and professionalism of our nurses - and of nurses throughout the Greater Rochester community - in helping Hillside Family of Agencies to build better futures with children and families.
