Living in Auburn can be costly to your car's tires

Proud to live in Auburn? Ha! You must be crazy. I know I will get the same old response to this, “Well then move!” But this time I have had it with this city. So far to date I have had three nails in my brand new tires, one replacement and two plugs later. As car owners you know it's not cheap to buy anything for a car these days. Today was the last straw with this dirty city.
Today on one of the millions of trips to Wal-Mart I hit a nail in the entrance. Now I have the fun time in going in and complaining - again. Not only is the problem with parking lots. Have you seen the streets lately? Is there no such thing as a street sweeper in this city, and why hasn't anyone picked up the garbage that's everywhere? I'm tired of the junk we see everyday and now it's costing me and I'm sure I am not the only one. So come on Auburn, clean this place up!

" Where is that street sweeper? It ran weekly in the past. Haven't seen it yet this season. Your nail in your tire could have come from anywhere. Think about it, all those rinky ratty trailers hauling remodeling debris to the landfill and loose nails falling off everywhere enroute. Do you think these remodelers even give it a thought. Nope. Just thoughtless careless individuals with no concern for others. "

" I believe that "relief" is trying to say that they believe in term limits, that being serve no more than two elected terms in office, then move on to a different elected office to keep the system of check-n-balance in place. If this is your intent, then I agree with your theory to keep that elected office up front and centered. "
