" I believe that all school districts should take note. I don't believe there is one district out there that can say they are doing all they can do to help children to their fullest. The biggest program is teachers, they now work under a contract and have forgotten the oath they took when they became a teacher. You hold students accountable, what about holding the teachers accountable. What about holding your administration accountable. School is not about them, but about your children. Life is not always about the almight $. Back in my days teachers were the best, pay may have been an issue but was never publicized and teachers always went above and beyond to help students. I hope all those that have been voted in as board members can make a difference in your district. Our children need you!!!! Remember board members you are head honchos of your district, start holding people accountable and make sure that your children get the best education they deserve. "

" It's a sad day for Auburn. It used to be a really great city but you just keep cutting your own throat. Your socialist tax programs just weaken your economic competitiveness. Do you offer ANY incentive for your youth and business or is your plan to push them all away? "

" Sorry you didn't get what you wanted. And to the morons in the district who believe spending more equals a better education...lets see the test scores and drop out rates in 2008. Then we'll see who should be singing... "
