Monica Sacco was uncatchable on Monday.
The junior won every event she ran, leading the Union Springs girls track and field team to its first victory in two years, a 58-56 win over Groton. The Wolves also fell to Marathon, 81-45.
Sacco won the 100m (13.5), the 800m (2:284), the high jump (4 feet, 8 inches) and ran a leg of the winning 1600 relay with Annie O'Hara, Molly O'Hara and Casey Emmett, who added a win in the 400 hurdles (1:21.1). Annie O'Hara won the 1500m (5:44.7), followed by her sister, Molly, (5:45). Kati Stolz won the 200m (30.4), and Danielle Lyndaker won the 100 hurdles.
The Wolves compete at Saturday's Groton Invite.
Weedsport 99, Cato-Meridian 42
Six different Warriors won or tied for first in five field events to lead Weedsport to victory.
Kim Gilfus won the triple jump (27-11), Alyssa O'Bryan and Michelle Donahue tied for first in the high jump (4-6), Ashley Edmunds won the pole vault (7-0), Sarah Lewis won the shot put (30-2), and Maria Barbaglia won the discus (90-1.5). Cato-Meridian's Renate Mandy won the long jump (13-5) to prevent a Warriors sweep in the field.
Barbaglia added a win in the 400 hurdles (76.7), Edmunds won the 3000m (13:11), O'Bryan won the 1500m (5:44.9), and Amy Sanchez won the 400m (68.1) and the 800m (2:45.7). O'Bryan, Edmunds, Colleen White and Erin Daly combined to win the 3200 relay (11:57), and Donahue, Sanchez, Barbaglia and White won the 1600 relay (4:42).
For Cato-Meridian, Mandy added wins in the 100m (13.9) and 200m (29.4), and Somer Stutter won the 100 hurdles (17.6). Mandy, Rebecca Myers, Ashley Shaffer and Ashly Gillis won the 400 relay.

Weedsport 100, Cato-Meridian 34
The Warriors swept the field events en route to 14 first-place finishes to secure the win.
Three of those victories came from Nick VanWie. The senior took first in the triple jump (41-7) and tied with Jim Bos in the high jump for top honors (5-6). He also ran with Bos, Craig Meitz and Sean Daly to win the 1600m relay (3:43). Daly also won the 800m (2:02.5), Meitz won the 400m (57.0), and Zack Nevidomsky won the 110 high hurdles (17.34) and the long jump (20-6). Ryan Enos won the 3200m (11:20), and also ran in the winning 3200m relay squad with John Bos, Zack Brown and Zack Field, who also won the pole vault (8-0).
Mike Greer won the 1600m (4:58), Lucas Baker won the 400 intermediate hurdles (1:06.26), Opie Jordan won the shot put (43-0), and Zack Stevens won the discus (121-8).
For Cato-Meridian, Andrew Gillis won the 200m (24.1) and the 100m (11.86). The Blue Devils were also victorious in the 400m relay.

Mike Howell took first place in the high jump to set a personal best (6-0), and Isaiah Moore added a win in the long jump (17-11). Joel Terry won the 1600m (4:48) and took second in the 800m (2:09). Vinnie Salato also added second-place finishes in the 100m (12.0) and the 200m (24.5).
