Tournament will benefit food pantry

There will be a golf tournament to benefit the St. Alphonsus Food Pantry Saturday, June 9, at Dutch Hollow Country Club.
The four-man scramble event will have a shotgun start at noon, and the cost is $60 per person, which includes 18 holes, cart, food and drinks on the course, prime rib dinner, skins and prizes.

Old-timers begin play next week

The Earl Hayward Old Timer's League will play Tuesday mornings, beginning May 15, at Lakeview Country Club. The format is a nine-hole captain and crew with new teams made up each week.

The Auburn USBC bowling/golf tournament, made up of two-person men, women or mixed teams, will be May 19-20.

Each team must have a member in good standing with the USBC. The cost is $150 per team.

St. Joseph benefit plays June 10

The ninth annual St. Joseph School Benefit Golf Tournament will be held Sunday, June 10 at Dutch Hollow Golf Course. Registration begins at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The format is captain and crew, and the cost is $65 per person, which includes greens fee, cart and steak dinner.

Dutch Hollow hosts mother-child event

Dutch Hollow is hosting a Mother-Child golf tournament at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12.

Any adult female may pair with a junior relative for the two-person scramble.

Junior spring invite Saturday at Dutch

Dutch Hollow is hosting the Junior Spring Invitational at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12. The format is two-person best ball and is open to any boy or girl grades eighth through 12th.

AEF tournament in July at Highland

The Auburn Education Fund's fourth annual golf classic will take place Monday, July 16, at Highland Park Golf Course. There will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

The $100 per person fee covers 18 holes of golf, cart, food on course, contests, buffet, team awards and door prizes. Golfers will also have a chance to compete in a hole-in-one contest for vacation packages and $50,000.
