Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies continue to investigate a single-vehicle crash that killed an Elbridge teen over the weekend.
Richard J. Wilson, 18, apparently lost control of his sedan while driving on Otisco Valley Road just south of Route 174 in Marcellus Saturday morning.
The car left the road and careened off a guide rail at about 6 a.m., according to deputies.
Marcellus firefighters used the jaws of life to remove Wilson, who was flown by Mercy Flight helicopter to University Hospital, Syracuse.
He was later pronounced dead from critical injuries suffered in the crash, Sheriff's deputies reported Sunday.
An accident reconstruction team's investigation of the cause is ongoing.
