Bush makes it difficult to vote for any Republican

Monday, May 7, 2007 11:06 AM EDT

How in the name of God could anyone in their right mind ever consider voting for another Republican president, or any Republican running for any high office in light of what has transpired during the Bush administration's tenure?
Does anyone really believe they could be any better since Republicans have rubber-stamped anything and everything Bush has wanted?

It'll be the same old same old. The only difference will be they'll have different names. Nothing will change. There will be no “out with the old and in with the new.” It'll sadly be “out with the old and in with the old.”

After two terms of the Bush-Cheney “do nothing but wreak havoc” politics, a new beginning must take place.

Enough of Republicans trying to steal votes by promising voters they'll do this and that to better our lives. They've done nothing but make things miserable for everyone except the 1 percent controlling more than 90 percent of this country's wealth.

There's no pie in the sky or even pennies from heaven for anyone. That is, of course, unless you're a fat cat of big business, chain conglomerate, corporate mogul or an oil baron.

And speaking of oil barons, they've become filthy rich since Bush became president.

But according to George, he has nothing to do with it. Things happen. They sure do and not for the betterment of anyone but the well-to-do.

Democrats have their faults, but they are still head and shoulders above the Republican “wolves in sheep's clothing.”

Democrats need to implement a purge of their own and stop all their talking and take urgent action. Bush and Cheney both need to be impeached and kicked out of the high office they have made mockery of.

The Republicans taking their place need to know they had better shape up or face the same fate and also get shipped out.

There's no place in government for bad politics like Republicans have a penchant for.

" "I absolutely agree with your comments. Under President Bush, only a small select group of citizens have benefited. However, that has always been the Republican Way. Time for a change, and a President that can talk in complete sentences." "

" I love our president Bush--he is the best! I don't like war but I agree with his actions and I totally support our troops! Mr Lynch I think you should spend less time writing to the paper and more time boxing up some goodies and treats for our brave men and women who joined our military knowing what is in store for them and serving our country! I am however interested : Did you serve in any military fashion or did you run to Canada during WWII ???? So Mr. Lynch the next time you write the paper please answer my question! thanks! "

" Why do you keep printing this person's letters? Its the same liberal rhetoric: Bush bad, Cheney bad, Republicans bad, etc...the writer offers no alternatives or original ideas and is suffering from an acute case of BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome). "
