A Cayuga County farmer is in fair condition at University Hospital after suffering injuries from his tractor Saturday afternoon.
Charles Myers, 56, was starting his tractor when it moved and ran over him. The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office responded.

He crawled out from underneath the machine and crawled to the road.

A passerby saw him more than six hours later.

The sheriff's department also responded to an accident 8 a.m. Sunday in Aurelius that resulted in two people being airlifted to a hospital and a third going to the hospital via ambulance.

The van they and four other people were traveling in hit a group of trees on Clark Street Road after leaving the road.

The sheriff's office is investigating the cause of the crash.

The seven people belonged to a band that had played in Cortland earlier.
