Lead slips away from Wells College

Wells College held the lead until the top of the fourth when Keuka College erupted for seven runs on six hits and the Express fell 16-6 in Game 1 of a softball doubleheader Thursday.
Brittney Seward scored twice for Wells while Justine Rouse and Beth Cereo also picked up hits.

Cereo pitched five innings for Wells and struck out four.

In Game 2, Keuka came out on top 13-2. Wells' Krystle Bouchard drove in a run with an RBI single, Cereo had a double and catcher Stephanie Hills also had a hit.

The Express travel to play Russell Sage Saturday in a doubleheader.
