Jolie files to change new son's name to Jolie-Pitt

Angelina Jolie has filed legal papers to change the name of her newly adopted son to Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt.

A legal petition filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court says Jolie wants to change the 3-year-old boy's name so that it will include “the last name of her partner,” Brad Pitt, and be the same as that of the couple's other children.

The petition was first reported by the syndicated television program “The Insider.”

Jolie traveled to Vietnam last month to adopt Pax from a Ho Chi Minh City orphanage.

The 31-year-old actress filed adoption papers as a single parent since she and Pitt, 43, are not married.

Brown says Murphy gave no reason for sudden split

Melanie Brown says Eddie Murphy left her with a baby, a tattoo of his name and no explanation for their sudden split.

The former Spice Girl, in an interview with OK! magazine, said she and Murphy were “soul mates” who got tattoos to proclaim their love and were mutually delighted with her pregnancy - until Murphy said on TV they were through and asked for a paternity test.

“A friend of mine called me to tell me. I was shocked, then I felt disgusted. We were madly in love with each other, and then this happens,” Brown told the magazine.
