The Cazenovia Wildcats, led by a 10-point performance by Courtney Caldwel, defeated Wells College 15-2 on Monday in Aurora, dropping the Express to 2-11.
Caldwel scored the first two goals of the game for the Wildcats in the opening 5:27 and added two assists later in the half to help her team to a 6-0 lead at the break.
The Wildcats held a 34-10 advantage in shots for the game and took advantage of 26 Express turnovers in the second half en route to the victory.
Express leading scorer Krystal Cleary scored twice to lead the Wells offense, giving her 16 on the season. Ashley Bittner and Claire Petersen each contributed assists.
Express goalkeeper Allie Inga made nine saves in the contest. Samantha Maitland needed to make only one stop in the win.
The Express will be on the road tonight at Keuka beginning at 7 p.m.
