The Wells College women's lacrosse team scored six goals in the first half on its way to an 8-3 win over Trinity University on Friday for the team's second win of the season.
Krystal Cleary led the Express with five goals, including the first four in the opening 10 minutes to give the Express a commanding lead.
Alice Hewes added two goals, while Jamie-Leigh Csizmar scored one. Csizmar, Hewes, Nicole Montgomery, Claire Petersen, Kyra Schugt and Melissa Vair each had an assist.
Wells College outshot Trinity 17-11 and had the edge in groundballs, 32-14 and draw controls 6-4.
Allie Inga had eight saves for the Express.
Wells closes its conference schedule today at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
