Wells falls for fifth time

The Wells College women's lacrosse team was outscored 9-1 in the second half en route to a 15-3 loss to Alfred University on Friday. Molly Amrogi-Yanson and Emily Tobin led Alfred with three goals apiece.
Alfred led 6-2 at the half, but the Express opened the second half with an unassisted goal by Claire Petersen after just 1:17 to cut the Saxon lead to three before Alfred countered with nine goals to close out the scoring. Wells' goalie Allie Inga, of Auburn, recorded a season-high 15 saves.

The Express (0-5) host SUNY Maritime today.
