Chamber draws talented duo
Mathew Brooks and Paul Haberlau, students currently enrolled in the Studio Art + Design program at Cayuga Community College, are exhibiting their drawings during the month of April at the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce. Their artwork can be seen from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, at 36 South Street, Auburn.

Merry-Go-Round tickets on sale
The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse box office is relocating back to its home in Emerson Park and opening for all ticket sales Monday, April 2.
The upcoming season will include: “Miss Saigon,” “Peter Pan,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Ain't Misbehavin'” and “Always - Patsy Cline.”

ARC to host art auction gala
Seneca/Cayuga ARC is hosting an upcoming gala art auction, Saturday, April 14, at Highland Park Golf Club in Auburn.
This sale will offer more than 160 pieces, including framed paintings, sports memorabilia and sculptures.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a live auction preview, a silent auction, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, live music and wine tastings courtesy of King Ferry Winery and Ventosa Vineyards.
Items on the silent auction will feature donations from local vendors, including a guitar from Speno Music, gift certificates for Sherwood Inn, Belhurst, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards and Fox Run Vineyards, home accents pieces from Geneva Homes, a photo session with Tellier Photography, a family membership to Auburn's Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center and more. The auction follows at 7:30 p.m.
Works by local contributing artists Wendy Bandurski-Miller and Patrick Miller of Moravia and regional artist Kristin Tremlett will also be available for auction. These pieces can be previewed at www.sencayarc.org.
All proceeds will support Seneca Cayuga ARC programs and services. Tickets are $25 per couple or $15 each.
Guests may make art requests for specific subject matter by April 9. Tickets are available at Speno Music in Auburn, The Copy Shop in Seneca Falls or by calling Seneca Cayuga ARC at 255-2285 or 539-5067.
Travel with museum on Toronto day-trip
The Cayuga Museum will sponsor a day trip to see the Yankees play the Blue Jays in Toronto on Monday, Aug. 6.
The trip includes lower level seats in section 113 A, on the first base line. The bus will leave Auburn at 6 a.m. and arrive at the Toronto Skydome for the 1:07 game.
Rest stops/meals en route are on your own. Proof of citizenship is needed to cross the border. Either a passport, or a government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver's license) plus a state-issued birth certificate (not a photocopy).
A deposit of $40 will secure a reservation. Payment in full is due by June 26. For further information, call the museum at 253-8051.
