An attorney for Albert DiLorenzo, a city official accused of paying fraudulent claims upon the city of Auburn, asked in court today that an indictment be dismissed.

April 1, 1997

The Auburn Local Development Corp. announced that the closing was completed Thursday on the Wait Hall Student Housing Project. The closing clears the way for the construction of a student apartment building at the site of the former Wait Building.

April 1, 2002

An Auburn police officer left for Arizona today, and Bernard “Ben” Sorrentino faced a hearing that will serve as a prelude for his return to New York. Sorrentino will face a charge of second-degree murder in the death of his wife when he is returned to Cayuga County.
